Event Details
Anthony Essaye, a Washington attorney, who was deputy general counsel of the Peace Corps from 1963 to 1967, and served under Sargent Shriver, the first director, and Bill Moyers, the first deputy director, discusses the founding of the Corps. A graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Law School, he followed his career in public service and the private practice of law by co-founding the International Senior Lawyers Project, a NGO that promotes the rule of law in the developing world.
